Using Copilot
Microsoft Copilot works inside the apps your team already uses. We show your staff what it can do with your organisation’s setup, and where to be careful.
What you’ll learn.
Which Copilot do you have?
Copilot Chat and the paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence do different things. We start by showing staff exactly what their version can and cannot see.
Outlook
Summarise long email threads, draft replies in your tone and catch up quickly after leave.
Teams
Get a recap of a meeting, a list of actions and who agreed to what. Ask questions about what was said.
Word
Turn notes into a first draft, rewrite in plain English and summarise long reports.
Excel
Ask questions about a spreadsheet in everyday words. Get help with formulas, tables and charts.
PowerPoint
Turn a document into a first set of slides, then tidy the wording and layout.
Sharing and permissions
Copilot can find anything you have access to. If files are shared too widely, Copilot can bring them up. We show what to check first.
Agents in Copilot
Use ready-made agents and see how simple ones are built. Building your own is covered in Creating agents.
You’ll leave able to
- Save time on email, meetings and documents
- Know what Copilot can see and why that matters
- Write requests that work well in each app
- Check Copilot’s work before sharing it
Train your team.
In person or online, for any organisation. Tell us who needs training and which tools they use, and we will tailor the course.
Thank you. Request received.
